Outstanding Safety Measures:
We take safety preparedness very seriously aboard the Marauder. We maintain a 15 man offshore life raft at the ready. And, our Captains and crew are all fully trained for safety. We are watchful and prepared so you can relax and enjoy the thrill!
Fast and Stable Ride:
The Marauder is powered by a pair of 450 hp Cummins Diesel engines, and is cruises along at a fast 25 knots. She has beautiful lines, too - which give her a smooth and stable ride.

Captain John Mayer
Capt John has more than 25 years both inshore and offshore fishing experience, holds a Coast Guard Masters 100 ton licence, and is an IGFA certified judge.
When he is not traveling the world fishing Marlin tournaments, you can find him aboard the Marauder keeping it meticulously up to par.
Captain John likes to emphasize sharing his mastery of fishing with clients and creating a wonderful relaxing time with 100% angler involvement.

Captain Brian Mayer
Captain Brian earned a Coast Guard 100 ton Master Licence at the age of 21. He also holds dual Bachelor degrees in Biology and Marine Science from Coastal Carolina University. Captain Brian is also SCUBA certified.
Captain Brian will share knowledge and techniques with you gained from professional fishing Offshore, on the Chesapeake, and in the Islands.
He loves fishing with younger people and families. You will love Brian for his fun personality and wealth of knowledge about fishing and the Chesapeake Bay.
While not on the boat Brian enjoys scuba diving and working in the garden watching things grow.
